Youth Unlimited/Youth for Christ is an international, faith-based charity with over 125 chapters worldwide. In Canada, YU/YFC has 31 chapters in over 200 communities with more than 400 staff and 3500 volunteers. Over the years, thousands of young lives have been impacted by YU/YFC.

Specifically, YU/YFC has a rich and strong history that dates back to the 1940's. We started primarily as a large Christian event mission, but we have definitely evolved over the years into a much more relational and holistic organization. Caring for the whole person is essential to who we are.

Each chapter has a registered charitable number and is governed by a local board and executive director. We are not for profit, and as a chapter we are registered as a society under the Alberta Societies Act.

The names Youth Unlimited and Youth for Christ are both trademarked in Canada. Youth Unlimited has been adapted across Canada as to be more accessible to the public sector.
